Whey protein comes in three primary forms:
- whey protein concentrate (WPC)
- whey protein isolate (WPI)
- whey protein hydrolysate (WPH), also known as hydrolyzed whey.
Hydrolyzed whey protein is pre-digested and broken down into dipeptides and tripeptides, and offers a high degree of bioavailability, and the body can easily absorb it.
