## **Why Do You Need Amino Acids?**

Amino acids are the building blocks of one of our fundamental nutrients, proteins, commonly found everywhere in human body. There are some amino acids that the human body can produce (non-essential amino acids), whereas the amino acids that belong to the other group (essential amino acids) are taken in with food. From all the different amino acids, only 20 contribute to the shaping of the structure of proteins. Amino acids are vital to all bodily functions such as digestion, liver function or wound healing. Amino acids maintain skin, ligaments, muscles, tendons, internal organs, glands, hair and nails. They also contribute to the production of hormones, neurotransmission compounds and enzymes. Besides, they also serve as a source of energy, as well as a carbohydrate and lipid-producing nutrient.

## **Why Do You Need Branched-Chain Amino Acids (BCAAS)?**

So to break it down, in the human body, there are 20 different amino acids that makeup thousands of different proteins. There are 9 essential amino acids out of the 20 that your body can not produce and you need to get it through diet or supplements. Three of the 9 amino acids are known as BCAAs (branched-chain amino acid) and it’s usually found in protein-rich food. So yes, you can get your amino acids from food, but BCAAs will get into your blood plasma faster than protein-rich food, and that will aid in speeding up recovery and feed your body with the needed amino acids.

BCAAs, that is, branched-chain amino acids, consist of three amino acids: valine, isoleucine and leucine, all of which are especially important for building muscles. Valine is a source of energy for the muscles, and it also greatly contributes to cell metabolism. Isoleucine is an amino acid required for hemoglobin production, and it also contributes to recovery. Leucine contributes to the recovery of bones, skin and muscles, and it is also capable of increasing protein absorption in itself. The three amino acids constituting BCAAs greatly enhance each other’s effect on building muscles and energizing, and they have a natural, specific proportion in muscles.

## **Benefits of Using BCAA Zero**

**Muscle Building**

BCAA Zero contain essential amino acids which help boost the needed protein that my body needs and it aids in increasing protein synthesis in the muscles. Quick and easy way to get it in when you are on the run.

If you had a great workout you just know you are going to feel it the next day, this feeling can last up to 72 hours depending on how you train. Muscles get damaged during training, but BCAA will decrease muscle damage by speeding up your recovery time.

**Improves Breathing**

BCAAs decreases your blood CO2 concentration, these levels usually increase with exercise. Because it also increases your ventilator response your body will process and receive more oxygen at higher rates.
